The vision on our energy future in Belgium

Why?

In order to reach our climate targets, the production and consumption of energy in Belgium needs to be decarbonized at least by 2050. This is a daunting task ahead of us. In light of the urgency and the importance of this challenge, the environmental movement actively contributes to the energy debate in Belgium.

What?

On our online platform Our Energy Future, WWF, BBL, Greenpeace and IEW bring together all of the relevant reports, briefings and publications contributing to a better insight in a sustainable energy future in Belgium, while embedding this in a European context.

In addition, we offer an overview of the renewable energy added annually in Belgium in recent years. We update this 'energy tracker' on a quarterly basis.
